Make room on your Funko display shelves and get ready to supercharge your Saturday morning cartoon binge, because the company is set to launch its own cereal line!

Per reports, Funko is set to unveil yet another brand by expanding its traditional POP!s line into themed cereals. Launch boxes will include such horror icons as A Nightmare on Elm St.’s Freddy Krueger and Elvira (Mistress of the Dark), as well as pop icons like He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, Beetlejuice and DC ComicsWonder Woman, among others.

Michael Becker, the company founder and current vice president of apparel, revealed recently that the cereal would also come with a miniature POP!s figure as well.

“It’s just one more of those feel-good Funko items,” Becker said. “I used to watch cartoons on Saturday mornings while I was eating cereal. We think people will buy one box to stock and one to rock. They’ll probably open one box and enjoy it and never touch the other one, because it’s a collectible.”

Each box will retail for $7.99, but only exclusively through collectibles retailers and not grocery stores. Certain brands will also have their own unique blend when mixed with milk. For instance, Krueger’s turns blood red and Beetlejuice’s will look like slime.

It will be difficult to not crack a box open to try it, but per Becker’s advice in buying two boxes might be the best route. Look for retailers to start rolling the products out this summer. For more information on the new cereal line, click HERE.
