This series will be a brief, semi-comedic review of the CW superhero shows. You can check out last week’s review post here. The only shows discussed will be ‘Arrow’, ‘Flash’, and ‘Supergirl’. There WILL be some spoilers discussed, so only look at the reviews you’re up to date on!
3. Supergirl, “In Search of Lost Time” (April 23rd)
While it’s taken awhile for SUPERGIRL to return, it’s come back strong. The central story of this episode is boring, but the overall episode is great. Supergirl’s plot line of arguing with Mon-El over cape fighting is boring. What works is J’onn trying to help his father, and Lena trying to rehabilitate Reign. The mind-power-anger J’onn’s father causes works well enough that it’s easy to accept the character blow-ups. Plus, it’s hilarious to see Winn have to blast an HR rep. The bar fight at the start of the episode set the tone for a great action-packed adventure.
