3. Supergirl, “The Faithful” (Oct 30th)

SUPERGIRL does a far better job with cult stuff than THE PATH has ever done. The plot point of people believing Supergirl’s a god makes a lot of sense. The church’s spooky leader also circles back to the “Girl vs God” struggle Supergirl faced in the season premiere. It would’ve been better if “The Faithful” wasn’t bogged down by the repetitive “is Reign a good mom” story line. While it’s only been four episodes, Reign’s pedestrian lifestyle is getting stale. Alex’s relationship problems are still interesting, but they’re not enough to carry the show. This episode is ALMOST really good, but it needs to refine its focus.

SCORE: 7/10 Soccer Games
