3. Supergirl, “Of Two Minds” (April 30th)

At long last, SUPERGIRL has introduced all the actual big bads for the season. Joining Death & Destruction’s Child is Pestilence, the disease carrying Catwoman. Supergirl’s “I can’t kill” quandry is old hat for the CW super-verse, but it’s a fine story. The details of Samantha’s Reign-woods mind-swap is confusing, but again, the execution works well enough. The Winn friendship crying scene is the most James has had to do all season. It’s an episode full of fine elements, but hopefully the united triumvirate of villains will kick the series into high gear.

SCORE: 7/10 Cookies
